Genetic Testing Bursary Program

Our committee is committed to ensuring that no individual or family with Jewish heritage in the province of BC who wishes to be tested for the BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes is unable to receive testing for lack of funds.

To that end, we offer a bursary program which provides individuals with the opportunity to be reimbursed for private genetic testing for the BRCA genes.

Interested individuals will need to demonstrate that they have not qualified for testing through the provincial Hereditary Cancer Program prior to consideration for the bursary.
